New Baltimore Michigan Wedding Photography

Jeanine & Jason - what can I say about this wedding and this family. I just love them both! I photographed Jeanine's Sister's wedding, I think it was two years ago now, and this summer I was honored to photograph Jeanine's own wedding. This was a picture perfect backyard Michigan wedding with lovely homemade details and sweetness. When did you guys Meet?

According to Jason we met in sixth grade in front of my locker. A mutual friend introduced us. Throughout middle school and high school our friendship grew. We would hang out and play piano together. After a spell of not talking for a few years – Jason was avoiding me, so that “I did not break his heart” – We reconnected over a college break and started dating.

How did he Propose?

We were engaged for just over a year. Jason planned a “surprise” trip to Chicago, which he was unable to keep a secret… Partially because he’s an awful secret keeper and more because I can’t stand secretes and plead and beg until someone tells me something. In Chicago, we went to Navy Pier. Jason proposed on the ferris wheel…

Did you know he was going to?

I had a feeling...

What was most exciting about the wedding day to you?

Being surrounded by our family and friends in such a personal and intimate setting.

Favorite wedding memory?

Our ceremony was extremely special because it was so personal and tailored just for us.
