Besides starting a new chapter in my life with JR, finally seeing 12 months of hard work and decision making come to life! My mother and I brainstormed for months on the design of the evening and the feelings we wanted to inspire. The vision of edgy, sentimental & romantic translated into a most spectacular scene to share with our family and friends. The wedding was highly personal and detailed. Beside the details the The whole day was emotional too!!!! When I think about the richest moments to me It is a tie between saying my vows with JR and seeing my father at Christ Church Cranbrook right before he walked me down the aisle and gave me away to my husband. Knowing my grandparents were watching over us as we took those steps. It all felt very real at that exact moment! It was like Constant crying and smiling the entire night! The best part of the day thought Entering onto our diamond dance floor with JR. Beginning at that moment we danced, laughed and rejoiced the entire night.
I have always expressed myself through fashion and I knew that for the most memorable weekend of my life I wanted to be in my favorite designers! Each look I chose I was going for edge mixed with timeless. Something about applique and blush colors felt very bridal but also very modern and I tried to keep my color palette in that range for the entire weekend. My wardrobe was on the more elegant side and add some surprise with my hair styles. For the rehearsal we did a braided Mohawk, at the wedding I changed my ceremony hair to an intricate Rapunzel-esque braid for the reception. For the brunch we were all so tired we opted for loose curls and braids. For the morning of the wedding I wore white Agent Provocateur robe with glitter monogrammed J & Miu Miu diamond bow kitten heels. Bridesmaids wore monogrammed pink Asian inspired satin robes with pink & white fluffy slides.
